We are looking for a dedicated Democratic Services Officer to provide professional advice to elected members, officers, the general public, and partners and you will be expected to assist with the supervision of support and technical staff, learners and student placements as directed.

You will be educated to degree level or have an equivalent standard of general education, have recent and extensive experience in committee services and be able to evidence successful experience in acting in an advisory capacity on professional issues.

Excellent communication skills are essential to the post, as are advanced IT skills and knowledge of working with multiple systems. Due to the nature of this post, it is expected that you will demonstrate a high degree of political sensitivity.
