You will be required to support and provide day to day supervision to the Integrated Safeguarding and Intervention Team Contact Officers to ensure that all initial Children and Families Social Care contacts and referrals entering the Integrated Safeguarding Intervention Team (ISIT) via telephone or written communication, are recorded accurately on the children’s social care record system.
To identify and prioritise the most vulnerable and at risk, provide advice, recommend action and record rationale in respect of future actions, contribute towards decision making to ensure all contacts are sign posted to or transferred to the appropriate service or person for action. Escalate to social workers for advice as necessary.
