We are looking to recruit an outstanding individual who has the ability to thrive in the fast paced environment of HR, working with a variety of clients from maintained schools to multi-academy trusts.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious HR professional who is ready to develop their career within a high profile organisation, joining a team of highly skilled colleagues, working together to deliver a seamless service to our clients.

The role itself involves delivering high level quality support, advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of HR casework; including sickness absence management, discipline, grievance and other employee relations issues in accordance with policies and procedures. The role will cover a broad range of duties including advice on staffing issues, pay and performance management, recruitment, policies & procedures, TUPE and Union negotiations.

Avec is a market leader providing a range of professional support services with a client focused approach to schools, academies and multi-academy trusts. The HR team work closely with clients to offer a premium yet cost-effective service across a number of regions.

You will be CIPD qualified, have excellent communication skills and be solution focused. Whilst a good ‘All Rounder’ you will also have significant and demonstrable experience in the following HR disciplines; performance management, absence management, TUPE and staffing restructures as well as being up to date with employment legislation. You will be able to demonstrate that you have the emotional intelligence to understand the importance of relationship building with clients as well as the necessary skills to do this.

At Avec we work flexibly across the academic year to ensure we remain responsive to the needs of our clients, much of our work is carried out on-site so there will be travel involved and the ability to travel independently is important.
