A vital part of our transformation is to ensure every employee has the skills, ability and confidence to do what is right, try new approaches, use their initiative and take personal responsibility for achieving great results. The Human Resources and Workforce Development Team is responsible for underpinning this.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Support Assistant to join our Human Resources and Workforce Development service. We are looking for an experienced candidate who has the ability to make a difference. If you thrive in a busy and diverse environment, then this role will suit you.

The role involves oversight of various IT systems therefore experience of using IT systems and databases including MS Office software i.e. word, excel, PowerPoint etc are essential.

This is a customer facing team so you will need to have excellent customer service skills as well as 5 GCSEs (grades A-C or level 9-4 in maths and English or equivalent).

You will be working in a small team therefore the ability to work independently but also as an effective team member is essential. You must be able to demonstrate effective communication, and organisational skills as they are an essential part of the role.

It is desirable that you have experience of taking notes of meetings and of workforce development activity.
