An opportunity has arisen for a Public Health Communications Executive/ Senior Executive to work within the Communications Team of Sunderland City Council. This post is fixed term for 24 month.
The successful candidate will be a key part of the City Council’s communications team, supporting in the development and delivery of public health communications campaigns to provide health and wellbeing information to residents and business.
You will work within the wider communications team and alongside colleagues in other teams across the council, businesses, partners and suppliers such as design agencies and PR consultancies.
We are looking for someone with good understanding of the communications and marketing landscape, particularly in terms of digital channels and content. The successful candidate should be an organised individual with the ability to meet deadlines and work across different projects at any one time.
Ideally you will be a creative thinker keen to work across a large and dynamic organisation as it aims to deliver an ambitious City Plan and improve health and wellbeing.
