The Governors of St Joseph’s Catholic Infant School, Birtley are seeking to appoint an Administration Assistant to work alongside the Head Teacher, and all school staff.

Duties would include:

Maintaining a welcoming reception to the school for all pupils and visitors.
Organising, maintaining all pupil systems and Local/National returns.
Handling cash, inputting school data and making appointments to ensure an effective service to the school.

You will be an integral member of the school team, expected to be able to manage your own workload and respond to the many interruptions of a busy school office.
Proposed hours of work are: 8.00am - 4.00pm: Monday-Thursday, 8.00am-3.30pm: Friday

Visits to the school are welcome by prior appointment, this will be dependent on the Covid-19 regulations in place as this time, please telephone the school office for further information.
