An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Team Manager within the Short Term Support Service to assist with the delivery of rehabilitation and reablement programmes in the community with the focus on client safety, discharge facilitation and admission avoidance.

The successful candidate will support the team with innovative ways of working, promoting change where necessary and helping achieve the organisation’s overall goals to deliver an excellent service.

Recently rated “outstanding” by CQC, the team is an integrated multidisciplinary team consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehab assistants, team supervisors and carers. There is close working with colleagues in social services and nursing services as well as independent providers in the community.

The post holder will assist the team manager in the day to day management of the team ensuring consistency of service provision and will provide good leadership to optimise the performance and clinical excellence of the team. The post is based with the South East team but, dependent on service needs, you may be asked to support at any one of our site.
