We are looking for a motivated and highly skilled funding specialist to work within the Education and Skills Division. Focusing on the education of Newcastle’s children and young people with special educational needs or disability (SEND).

The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of effective strategies and processes to ensure the effective distribution of the Dedicated Schools Grant.

You will have strong financial skills, experience of multi-year forecasting, assessing financial sustainability and presenting complex information and data. Equally important, you will have highly developed communication skills, fostering positive relationships with internal and external partners.
