Social Worker - Adult Services

Permanent 37 hours


Salary : £28,672 - £32,2341- £33,782– £37,890 p.a
i.e. pre-progression grade 9 scp 24 – 28
post -progression grade 11 scp 30 – 34

Job Location: One of the locality teams however you may be required to work at any Council building.

VACANCY NO: AHS/20/394

A permanent full time Social Worker is required in the Derwentside Locality Team to ensure that the social care needs of people are fully assessed under the Care Act and that services are delivered, monitored and reviewed in accordance with the agreed care plan. A sound knowledge and experience in Adult Social Care is required, along with good knowledge and experience of MCA.

Required qualifications: Professional qualification: Degree in SW, Dip SW, CSS or CQSW or equivalent, plus Social Work England registration.

The successful applicant for this post will be required to apply for a Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
