Based in our Adult Social Care Learning Disability Team, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced qualified Social Worker with the imagination and drive to help people build on their aspirations and live the lives they want to live.

The successful applicant must be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England and have significant post qualifying experience. Recognising the strengths of the Community Led Support (CLS) model, there practice must be strength based and person centered and they must have demonstrable values to support the team to promote inclusion, citizenship and the right to take risks.

The successful applicant will also have experience and knowledge of the Care Act 2014, the Court of Protection process and Mental Capacity Act. They must be confident with identifying safeguarding concerns, protecting people from harm whilst promoting human rights being at the heart of what they do.

This is an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Social Worker with a detailed understanding of key developments relating to adults within the Learning disability arena of social care.

The successful applicant will receive regular supervision and an annual appraisal, they will be well supported and have opportunities in respect of personal and professional development with the potential to experience a variety of roles within adult social care.
