The service is the first Adult Education ever in the Country to secure the four awards of matrix standards, Investors in Volunteering, Investors in Careers, Better Health at Work and Investors in People.
We are seeking to appoint a Careers Advisor to lead on the delivery of the Hartlepool Youth Hub. This is a unique partnership between the Councils Learning &Skills Service, Jobcentre Plus and Training Providers from across Hartlepool. The aim is to support unemployed young people aged 16 to 29 to overcome barriers and progress into a positive destination including Sustained Employment.
The post holder will have significant experience in delivering Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance. The role will need to manage an allocated caseload ensuring individuals receive regular reviews and action planning to support them to effectively progress into Education, Employment or Training.
