Hartlepool Borough Council Learning & Skills Service is a high performing provider and in November 2017 was awarded a Good rating by Ofsted, with excellent features identified. In recent years, the Service has undergone positive transformational changes to move it closer to becoming an outstanding training provider. The service is the first Adult Education ever in the country to secure the four awards of matrix standards, Investors in Volunteering, Investors in Careers, Better Health at Work and Investors in People.
The service is now moving towards becoming an outstanding provider and is seeking to appoint qualified, ambitious and enthusiastic Tutors, Assessors and/or Internal Verifiers to join our team. You will be required to help raise expectations and aspirations of our learners, to enthuse and motivate them towards progression through accredited/ structured non-accredited programmes. Candidates will need to be flexible in the days and times of delivery of course programmes, as required for the needs of the learners and the Service. Vacancies have arisen in a broad range of subjects including:
L6 Careers Information Advice & Guidance
ESOL – English for Speakers of Other Languages
L2 Retail Operations
L4 and above in Health & Social Care
Specific Learning Difficulties
Safe Handling of Medication
End of Life Care
Digital Skills & ICT
Sport & Leisure
