Further Information
Based in Children's Services, but also working with partner agencies, the postholder will contribute to the development of data collections and analysis in relation to the Council’s Troubled Families programme.  He or she will enjoy a significant amount of autonomy to develop an already well-established role, with the support of comprehensive on the job training.

The work within the Supporting Families programme, Early Help and Children's Centre's data is an excellent opportunity for technical and personal development with the ever-changing world which governs the data we work with. This role sits within an incredibly supportive and friendly team.

The use of data visualisation tools within our work has added a new layer of enjoyment to the role by being able to perform more in-depth analysis and to see data in an entirely new way. Working with these services and seeing the data alongside their work is incredibly satisfying.

A typical year could see the postholder pulling together the data evidence for numerous rounds of payment by results claims, presenting data analysis to the Board, and developing innovative ways of sharing data with partners.   As well as being a “data and technically-able person”, the attributes we are looking for are tenacity, an ability to join up datasets and produce forecasts, and attention to detail.

We are offering:

A salary of £22,183 - £24,491 part time 25.9 hrs a week

Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme (or other pension scheme)

A wide range of staff benefits including a competitive annual leave provision

Flexible working arrangements

Opportunities for continuous professional development

Essential requirements:

Experience in joining up data sets, attention to detail, and an understanding of how client data bases work.

For full details, please refer to the job description and person specification
