We are looking to recruit an experienced Contract Officer to work as part of the DurhamWorks team in County Durham.

DurhamWorks is a programme for young people aged 16-24 living in County Durham who are not in education, employment or training. We are a partnership programme, led by Durham County Council with a number of organisations who work together to support young people and help them create their futures.

The post holder will be required to manage the performance of sub-contractors and Delivery Partners, ensuring targets are met. This will include managing service level agreements with Delivery Partners and contracts with subcontractors. The postholder will ensure that data and financial claims collection, recording and monitoring from Delivery Partners and subcontractors, are accurate and timely. Regular preparation and presentation of delivery and progress reports will be expected.

The successful candidate will have experience of contract management and management of externally funded programmes and will have a proven track record of working with partners to effect change.

Required Qualifications: Minimum Level 4 qualification and/or able to demonstrate relevant experience.
