We are looking for a lively and motivated receptionist to join our sport and leisure service at Waves, North Tyneside Council.

Waves is a very busy Leisure Centre receiving just under half a million visits per year. Waves features a leisure pool benefiting from an aquatic play area, 3 racing slides and the highly popular wave machine. We also have a multi-functional fitness suite, dance studio, soft play, multi-purpose meeting room, spin studio and spa facilities.

We are currently looking for a permanent, 28 hours per week clerical receptionist, working Monday to Friday.

Monday 9.30am-3.30pm
Tuesday 9.30am-3.30pm
Wednesday 9.30am-3.30pm
Thursday 4pm-8pm
Friday 9.30am-5.30pm

You will be responsible for the delivery and operation of a frontline reception service with the highest commitment to customer care. Main duties include cash and call handling, providing an information service and using our “Dimensions/Advantage” system to co- ordinate the centres bookings/memberships and all other customer requests. You must have excellent customer care skills, an understanding of Information technology, have a positive, friendly, polite manner and be comfortable following membership sales processes.
