If you are passionate about the local environment and the community benefits it provides, then an exciting opportunity exists for you at North Tyneside Council: We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated and experienced people to join our Public Conveniences team.
You will be required to maintain North Tyneside Council’s Public Conveniences to predetermined and expected standards and ensure the borough is a place where people want to live, work and visit. The ideal candidate would have experience in a similar role and of driving small vans or cleansing vehicles and the use of cleansing materials and equipment.
You will need to be able to work independently and use your own initiative and work proactively with all members of the wider team including external agencies.
A disposition to promote high standards of maintenance and customer service will be required to provide a clean and tidy environment. You will be an integral member of Local Environmental Services team ensuring North Tyneside is a great place to live, work and visit.
This post is fixed term for 22 weeks, shift 1 is 12 hours per week, shift 2 is 16 hours per week.
