An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People and Organisation Development (POD) Apprentice to join County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service (CDDFRS).

As a POD Apprentice within the service, you will play an important role in supporting the inspiring culture and high performance we strive towards for all our colleagues as well as developing your own skills and abilities. You will work alongside the People and Organisational Development Section to ensure quality and consistency across all areas and the successful candidate will be working closely to provide a quality administrative provision.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of general education and be keen to develop within the occupational area. Previous experience within an administrative environment would be advantageous but not essential. They will work towards an apprenticeship in Business Administration to Level 3.

In return the post offers 26 days annual leave (pro rata) rising to 31 days after 5 years, flexible working hours, provision of uniform, sports facilities, car parking and a pension scheme.
