We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to become a teaching assistant and crew leader who will join our founding team at XP Gateshead.
XP Gateshead is a new, small scale mainstream secondary school scheduled to open in August 2021.

At XP we have transformed the traditional role of a teaching assistant into what we call a Learning Coach. A Learning Coach supports learning of students in all settings, and in addition is a Crew Leader.
Crew is our pastoral structure, and is at the heart of our school culture. Crews of 12-13 students meet for 45 minutes every day where they support and challenge each other to become the best versions of themselves.
We are particularly interested in Learning Coach applicants who have experience in:
• SEND
• Key Stage 2 / Key Stage 3
• Literacy and numeracy
• EAL
• Sports or outdoor education
