The Economic Growth Team is responsible for growing the economy of Hartlepool by assisting businesses to start up and grow and through targeted regeneration projects.

Reporting to the Enterprise Manager, the candidate will be part of the Enterprise Team that is responsible for supporting business start ups in the Town and also includes management of the Hartlepool Enterprise Centre and the BIS.

The Hartlepool Enterprise Centre is a Council owned and run managed workspace facility offering a range of office, studio and workshop space that caters for a wide range of start up businesses. The Centre also forms the base for the Enterprise Team and the delivery of business start up advice as well as various business support initiatives.

The candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the Hartlepool Enterprise Centre that will include liaising with tenants, reception and admin duties.

You will have first class customer service skills, the ability to work alone and as part of a team. Good admin skills are required to keep tenant records up to date, raise purchase orders, pay invoices, as well as providing admin support to the wider team.
