We are looking for a special person to become part of the Moorbridge team. All of our students have additional needs in the area of SEMH. Some have Secondary Needs in the areas of Communication and Interaction, Sensory and Physical and or Cognition and Learning. Sometimes these students need 1:1 support to help them successfully access learning opportunities.

The successful applicant will support students into class; liaising closely with class teachers to plan and differentiate work. They will have a good understanding of how to support young people to regulate their emotions and develop a ‘growth mindset’.

You will need to be a good communicator; both orally and in writing. It is imperative to communicate effectively with parents/ carers, colleagues and multi-agency professionals. You will also be required to submit written reports and update monitoring systems, as well as contributing to SEN reviews.

We need someone who is resilient, resourceful and has a good sense of humour. You will also need to be responsive to change and willing to work flexibly in response to the needs of the school.

This post is 37 hours per week, term time only over 195 days, fixed term until the 30th June 2022.
