The Tyne Community Learning Trust is a unique community of nine schools, comprising of six first schools, two middle schools and a high school, serving a semi- rural, geographically linked area for learners aged 2 – 19 years.

Ovingham Middle School is set in the small picturesque village of Ovingham, Northumberland and has served the local community since first opening its doors in 1976. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher to join our friendly and dedicated team.

We are looking for staff who are:-

• Flexible, enthusiastic and have experience of working with children.
• Have very high expectations of pupil behaviour.
• Have the ability to support the school's ethos and reputation within the community.
• Can work as part of a team

We are strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure is required for this post. As this post involves working with children, written references will be taken up and made available to interviewers before the final selection stage; even if you indicate otherwise.
