Our school is one of six primary and secondary schools within the NEAT Academy Trust family of schools. We have a national research school, which aims to build and strengthen networks of schools throughout the region and help them access effective education research and implement it in everyday practice.

Central Walker is a supportive, welcoming and motivated school community, working hard to achieve high standards. We are are looking for an highly motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to support our teaching professionals within the Key Stage 2 phase of school to maintain and improve teaching standards for our pupils. This position is subject to six-month probationary period.

Working hours are 8.00 am to 3.30 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 8.00 am to 3.45 pm on Wednesday and 8.00 am to 2.45 pm Friday.

Successful candidate will have:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Outstanding teaching of reading and a love of English.
• Experience in working within Key Stage 2.
• Commitment to the well being and care of all children.
• An ability to work successfully as part of a team.
