Technology plays an increasingly important role in the delivery of services and information in this digital age. Police Staff, Officers, the business community and the public increasingly have this same expectation when they engage with the Police.

Cleveland Police aims to ensure that police staff and officers have the resources and technology to properly investigate crime, equipped with new tools and techniques and bring offenders to justice. Digital platforms will allow officers and staff more autonomy in the decisions they make, and drive efficiency using new technology to eliminate unnecessary paperwork, reduce bureaucracy and make it easier to interact with one another.

Cleveland Police will become increasingly mobile, using technology to allow its people to access information quickly, whenever and wherever they need it. Technology will support and empower officers to make faster decisions, because, at the point of contact, they will be supported by more accurate and timely information.
