We are looking for a Senior Information Governance Officer to join our Social Care, Health and Information Governance team. The posts will involve a varied caseload of data protection, GDPR and FOI matters. You will help support the Council’s Data Protection Officer in ensuring the Council is compliant with all data protection legislation.
You will have expertise in Data Protection law with an in depth knowledge of the requirements of the GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 with appropriate legal, ISEB, GDPR or equivalent data protection qualifications.
You will have expertise of working in an information governance compliance environment, working with stakeholders to develop, policies procedures and standards
You will have experience of delivering data protection compliance training.
