Three Lunchtime Supervisors Required – 5 hours per week, 1 hour per day. 12 noon to 1.00pm.
Grade 1 £18,562 (pro rata)
Required from 1 September 2021. This is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2022.
The Governors of Pittington Primary School are looking to increase their team of Lunchtime Supervisors and are looking to recruit 3 additional members of staff.
The successful candidates will have positive and happy dispositions and be able to communicate effectively with children and be willing to engage them in games and active activities. The successful candidates will be positive role models for the children and will understand and appreciate that all children are unique, with some requiring additional support during the social aspects of lunchtime.
In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to carry out basic First Aid during the lunchtime period and be willing to undertake training to further develop their understanding of children’s needs as well as initiatives that the school may be developing.

This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
