Northern Education Trust is a DFE approved charity that sponsors academies to ensure that student achieves their full potential. The Trust sponsors 21 academies; 11 secondary and 10 primaries across the North of England in eleven Local Authority regions. There may be some requirement to travel to academies across the Trust.
The ideal candidate will have first-rate organisational and ICT skills including the ability to multi task and lead a team under the management of the Trainee Accountant / Technician. Responsibilities will include assisting with accounting transactions to ensure that the monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts are correctly reflected.
The post holder must have a relevant finance qualification, or currently working towards on (AAT/CIPFA).
