The Service
The Cashiers and Income Management team is part of the Council’s Transactional Service. The team is based in Morpeth and is responsible for the allocation of all income receipts and the Council’s banking services.

The role
The successful candidates will work as part of a team dealing with all income received by the authority. You must have a good general standard of education demonstrating literacy and numeracy along with clerical/administrative experience. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to support the Council’s commitment to provide excellent customer service. A high degree of accuracy is essential as well as the ability to adhere to strict deadlines. You should also have experience of operating computerised systems. Experience of working in a cashiers or similar environment would be desirable.
