We are looking to appoint an experienced support assistant, the role involves supporting individuals with learning disabilities to work towards achieving their individual aims and goals in a supportive and developmental environment. Experience in providing personal care is essential for this role. It would be desirable for applicants to have a minimum level 2 qualification in Care or its equivalent.

The Activity and well-being services are a Local Authority service which provides a range of activities and support for adults with learning disabilities and works within the fundamental standards of the Care Quality Commission as good practice .

Our service is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all service users and expects all staff to share this commitment. The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure check along with relevant employment checks.
