We currently have a number of opportunities for Team Leaders within the Environmental Services Team across the City. The successful applicant will supervise and manage the front-line refuse service, providing on site supervision and support to ensure service delivery meets the needs of the designated collections and resident expectations.
Applicants must be able to work with a variety of people to resolve issues identified through inspection and local community liaison, as well as responding to service requests from members and residents.
This post is key to ensuring that the refuse service supports Fleet management and delivers services in line with the Council’s Operating Licence. In order to do this, you will need to provide the appropriate advice, monitoring and action to ensure compliance at all times.
The safety of our teams is paramount, and this role will ensure safe, efficient and effective delivery of refuse services and correct use of vehicles, PPE and equipment and other resources, in compliance with the Corporate and Directorate Health and Safety Policies.
