We are seeking to build capacity in our highly successful intervention team, the team responsible for day to day management of student development across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The post would require you to work closely with the wider student development team, Heads of Year, teachers and external agencies to promote good behaviour and support students at Macmillan Academy.

The successful applicant will have previous experience of supporting the management of behaviour within a secondary school and be able to demonstrate:-

• Experience of communicating effectively with students and parents.
• An ability to manage conflict and to motivate students.
• Knowledge of strategies which promote good behaviour and discipline.
• The skills needed to bring about a positive change of behaviour of students experiencing difficulties with their behaviour, emotional and social development.

Experience of supporting challenging students, a degree, or relevant qualifications are desirable.
