We’re currently seeking two talented, motivated social workers to join our highly skilled service.

We provide a social work service for children and young people from birth to eighteen who have a wide range of permanent and substantial disabilities, including children who have complex health needs. The team covers all areas of statutory social work practice, which will include referral and assessment, children in need, child protection, and children in care, including court work, leaving care / transition. The role requires a confident approach to working with statutory, private, and voluntary agencies and an ability to identify and apply complex systems and frameworks whilst remaining child centred.

You will be a pro-active analytical thinker with a sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children. We are looking for a strong and reliable team worker, who brings ideas for service delivery and who works in partnership with parents and young people.
You will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, ensuring social work standards are always maintained. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage conflicting demands and meet timescales.
