You will be supported by our friendly experienced team primarily based in our main office at Morpeth County Hall.
The Improvement & Innovation directorate works at the heart of the Council, driving change organisation-wide, to deliver better outcomes and better value for money for residents.
As part of the Improvement & Innovation directorate, the Service Review team is at the forefront of making that change happen. The team acts as a key source of advice for the Executive leadership and Members on service improvement and change.
The Service Review team is small (5 members) but aims to deliver enduring impact, through strong internal partnerships based on support, challenge, trust and honesty. As Service Review Officer, you will report to the Service Review Lead. Service Review Officers are responsible for delivering high profile service reviews successfully to completion. You will trouble-shoot areas of concern and implement innovations that improve the services the Council delivers.
The salary for this permanent post is Band 8 (£32,910 to £36,922), with normal hours of work of 37 per week.

Who are we looking for?

You’ll need to be confident operating in a political environment and managing a diverse range of stakeholders. You’ll be experienced in drawing insights from data to drive evidence-based service development and change. You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate and collaborate to achieve change.
