ASSISTANT EXAMINATIONS OFFICER
Salary - Grade 5 SCP 7 - 9, actual £16,933.45 - £17,930.12 per annum
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only over193 days

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Examinations Officer to support the internal and external examination process for approximately 1,000 students each year. Reporting to the Examinations Officer, the role will have particular responsibility for coordinating a team of exam invigilators, supporting external candidates, and working with the Examinations Officer to plan and deliver exams throughout the academic year. The successful candidate will undertake an integral role during examination result days; helping students to understand their results and the next steps available to them.

A flexible working approach is required. The role is term time only plus 12 full days during the last 3 weeks of the summer break.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible and enjoy working with young people aged 13-18.

A minimum of GCSE or equivalent level in English and Maths is desirable, along with excellent administrative and communication skills.
