We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and energetic cleaner to join the existing team. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, enjoy the variety of tasks and challenges that the role presents. We would expect that they would demonstrate the ability to work both as part of a team, manage their time well and show initiative.

Reporting to the Cleaner in Charge, the successful applicant will responsible for:
• to use general electrical equipment (polishers, vacuums etc.) in a safe and proper manner, following all safety precautions including checking for damage to cables and plugs
• to appropriately clean areas in and around school such as; toilet areas, stairways and landings, offices and classrooms, halls and gyms, specialist units and suites
• be responsible for appropriately cleaning any accidental spillages in school or grounds when on duty.

This post is permanent, 12.5 hours per week, the working pattern will vary during term time between the hours of 6am until 9pm. The post is term time only over 193 days.

We would hope that the successful candidate will be able to start with us as soon as possible. Training will be provided as previous experience is not required however the willingness to learn is essential.
