Further Information
SELEfirst are looking to recruit a teaching assistant on a task specific fixed term contract until August 2022 to help support SEND and behaviour in either KS1 or KS2. The post will involve 1:1 and small group work to support the teacher to be able to meet individual needs. Experience and ability to manage challenging behaviour is desirable. The successful candidate must be flexible in the ability to work across years 1 to 4 and must have a good understanding of how early reading is taught and a good understanding of Maths concepts.
This post is variable hours contract from 20-30, starting at 27.5 hours per week; from 8.30am – 3.00pm Monday to Friday with a half hour for lunch.
Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable.
This post will start asap, subject to satisfactory checks and clearances.
This post is a fixed term contract to carry out the specific task of SEND support in current KS1 and KS2 until August 2022.
