30 hours per week over 5 days (variable hours 5 – 30 hours, term time only)

Ovingham C of E First School is a happy and ambitious first school with a caring and friendly ethos. We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our committed and talented team.

The hours of the post will be 9am until 3pm 5 days per week, in total 30 hours per week. The post holder will be working to support SEND pupils access all aspects of school. This is an exciting role at the heart of the school and the successful candidates will play a key part in ensuring that every child is able to meet their full potential.

You should be enthusiastic, energetic, passionate about helping every child achieve, have strong IT skills, a commitment to team work and be able to communicate well with young children and adults. SEND experience is not essential but we are seeking a candidate that has the skills and attributes to work successfully with pupils of all needs and abilities.
