Durham County Council is currently undertaking an exciting digital change programme to maximise efficiencies and improve customer experience and service delivery.

We are looking for an experienced delivery focussed programme or projects office manager who will be responsible for the ongoing development and management of what is an extensive and ambitious digital programme.

The Project Management Office Manager will be responsible for leading a team of project managers, business analysts and project support officers to develop the appropriate environment to ensure projects are delivered effectively and benefits realised.

Strong leadership and excellent stakeholder engagement skills are essential to ensure a user centric approach throughout project delivery and customers are placed at the heart of what we do.

Programme management qualifications are essential as is significant experience of digital transformation and technology based software development and procurements.
