An exciting opportunity has arisen to join South Tyneside Council’s Pensions Service in our newly established Employer Services Manager role. This is an important role with responsibility for developing positive relationships with the Funds employers to enable them to carry out their statutory duties providing and delivering excellent customer services through support, learning and guidance.

You will be part of the Senior Management Team and will work closely across the service. You will also develop strong, positive and productive working relationships with third party suppliers and external organisations. You will be assisted by a small team of people which you will have line management responsibility for.

As Employer Services Manager you will:

• Play a key role with developing and monitoring compliance with the Fund’s Pensions Administration Strategy;
• Delivery effective employer communications and engagement;
• Ensure effective information flows and data quality;
• Monitor and report performance against key indicators;
• Provide excellent service delivery and strive for continuous improvement.
