1 Full time (37 hrs) or 2 part time (18.5 hrs) positions available.

Based at Sandhill Centre, Grindon Lane, Sunderland and Stanfield Centre, Addison Street, Hendon, Sunderland. Free On-Site Parking.

Following completion of induction & training, flexible & agile working is available whereby teams alternative between office and home working.

We are looking for Business Support Assistants to provide administrative support to our busy children’s social care teams, who support children, young people and their families. The main duties include inputting and retrieving information into the Liquid Logic database, organising meetings, notetaking/minute taking, preparing, and sending letters and other office tasks to support our social work professionals. These are busy teams so the ability to be flexible, manage and prioritise workloads is essential to the service.

We are looking for candidates who:
- have excellent communication and strong IT/keyboard skills
- the ability to use these skills confidently in a conference/meeting situation
- have a clear understanding of the need for confidentiality.
- have experience of working in an office
- are customer focused and have a high level of commitment to work in partnership with service users.
