We are seeking to employ a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant on a permanent basis to join the supportive and friendly Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant team working with children from Reception to Year 6.
We are looking for a lunchtime supervisory assistant who will:
Have an understanding of the role of a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant
Be able to communicate well with pupils and adults
Have a calm but assertive manner
Be enthusiastic and committed
The successful applicant will demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, being able to think and act quickly to deal with any issues that arise within the role. They will take on responsibility to ensure the wellbeing and safety of all children during the lunchtime period. They will follow the school’s behaviour and other relevant policies and guidelines. They will carry out duties as requested, working both indoors and outdoors.
The post may involve attending to children’s individual needs, including medical needs.
