We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced manager who will provide visionary leadership and management of the Council’s Community Hubs and Well being services. Working closely with the Assistant Director and other members of Senior Management. 

There will be a requirement to deliver successfully on objectives and financial targets ensuring that these are consistent with overall strategic aims and gaining the commitment of staff and key stakeholders will be crucial to success.

The successful applicant will be creative in their approach and have an enthusiasm to improve the health and well being of the people of Hartlepool; mentally, physically and socially. They will be empathetic to the needs of the Hartlepool population and ensure services are considered accessible and services are high quality.

The Community Hub Infrastructure is inclusive of Health and Well Being Services and Library Services as well as services provided by other council departments or third party organisations. Community Hubs will also continue to evolve therefore it is crucial anyone applying for this role is agile in their approach to work as well as being able to manage change and transition successfully.
