As a Highway Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the Council’s road network. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating traffic management activities related to street works. You will also monitor and evaluate the performance and efficiency of the network and identify and implement improvements.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as contractors, utility companies, emergency services and the public, you will deliver high-quality services and maintain customer satisfaction across the Borough.

This post has been identified as suitable for flexible working which enables the postholder to work a percentage of their working time away from the office.
