Salary -£41,418 - £45,441 p.a. grade 12 ( or NHS Band 6 £35,392-£42,618 if employed via NHS)

Applicants are invited to apply for the above permanent Assistant Team Manager full-time vacancy based within the East Learning Disabilities Team.


WHAT IS INVOLVED? 

 The role of the assistant team manager is to work with the team manager to manage and supervise a Multi-disciplinary Integrated Learning Disability Team, ensuring high quality and effective services are delivered.

The post-holder will work specifically with adults with learning disabilities. The postholder will assist the Team Manager, in ensuring that effective systems are in place for the assessment of need and care planning for service users, the allocation and management of workloads within the team and providing advice/support to team members as required.

WHAT WILL I NEED? 
Applicants should have relevant post qualifying experience which includes supervisory experience as well as meeting deadlines and targets able to demonstrate an awareness of current issues in relation to social care agenda.

Required Qualifications: Professional qualification in social or health care to diploma level or degree in relevant subject or equivalent.

Current registration with appropriate professional body.

If successful, you will be required to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.

HYBRID WORKING  
Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
