The Safeguarding Children Partnership has an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to support the efficient running of the Partnership by providing comprehensive, effective business support and administrative services.

The Multi Agency Safeguarding Arrangements in North Tyneside are delivered by three statutory safeguarding partners which are North Tyneside Council, Northumbria Police and Northeast, North Cumbria Integrated Care Boards, in partnership with a number of other agencies. There are several subgroups who progress the work including developing policy, procedures and practice guidance for professionals and volunteers who work with children, young people and families in North Tyneside. 

The Partnership have an independent Scrutineer who is responsible for holding partners to account and to provide scrutiny of the arrangements developed by the three statutory partners. The Administrator will work closely with the Business Manager to support the Safeguarding partners in helping to coordinate and manage multi-agency working.

This is an interesting and varied role that requires an enthusiastic and self-motivated team player with a proven administrative background. You should be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in business support, administration or personal assistant roles and it is essential that you have experience of taking minutes with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel, alongside the ability to coordinate with and for multi-agency partners.
