A varied and stimulating workload awaits a talented and experienced Landscape Architect to lead a diverse portfolio of projects, including public realm, recreation, education, regeneration, community, and residential projects. Knowledge of current planning policy relating to landscape architecture is required as the role includes assisting planning colleagues with major and minor planning applications and other landscape matters including Tree Preservation Orders and the North East Community Forest.

The successful applicant will require a relevant professional qualification or Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute as well as effective communication skills for participation in a number of design teams, where you are required to promote the skills offered by a Landscape Architect.

The successful applicant should be familiar with Autocad, NBS, Biodiversity Net Gain and have good graphic and presentational skills. A valid driving license is essential.

The salary is £46,464 - £51,515 per annum.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975, and a Standard DBS disclosure will be required.
