About the role….
We’ve got an exciting opportunity to join our leadership team, where you have the freedom to be creative, innovative and make a difference. We’re looking for a transformational leader who champions creative and visionary communications and engagement approaches, that are modern and relevant, who’ll develop and deliver integrated, effective, and engaging campaigns which will raise our profile and influence participation in everything the council is aiming to achieve.
We want the successful candidate to provide leadership and management and ensure that corporate and service plans are effectively delivered through the application of effective, smart and inspiring communications and engagement activities. Leading a high performing team, you’ll have the flexibility to engage, collaborate and bring others along on your journey, to ensure everyone understands what we want to achieve and why. Providing a brilliant service is a crucial element to delivering the council’s Thrive agenda. We want an approach that rivals others.
