Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated community nursery nurse to work in their 0-19 Early Help Service as an integral part of the wider multidisciplinary team; to provide an effective, high quality service to families.

As a community nursery nurse based in the Early Help Team you will be working with children predominantly aged under 5 and their families to manage their growth and development and to build their skills, whilst also supporting them to manage their health needs in line with the Healthy Child Programme. 

You will work in a variety of settings, including the family home and clinic setting, and your intervention will be by way of assessment by the allocated Health Visitor. You will also offer support in both group settings and on an individual basis and in accordance with service need. 
You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills and will be working as part of a team, you will also be required to use your own initiative. 

You would be supported to fulfill your role through induction, training, shadowing and a mentorship package tailored to your individual needs.
