A vacancy has arisen within Business Services for three Administrative Assistants working within Integrated Passenger Transport Team.  Two posts are full time 37 hours and one post is part time 30 hours.

WHAT IS INVOLVED:

You will support the finance functions within the team which involves processing of invoices and claims relating to home to school, public transport and social care transport activities and payments for external bus companies/contractors. You will also be responsible for processing expenses forms.

You will need experience of dealing with enquiries from members of the public and working to deadlines.

WHAT WILL I NEED:

You should have BTEC in Public Administration or NVQ2 Business Administration or equivalent qualification.

HYBRID WORKING:

Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
