We are seeking to appoint an experienced and inspirational teacher to lead Phase 3 (years 3 and 4) at Easington Colliery Primary School.

We are looking to appoint someone who:
• Is an exceptional, motivated and skilful class teacher, who values all children and is passionate and reflective about learning and teaching
• Have recent and relevant training or experience
• Will work well with others
• Can demonstrate excellent classroom practice with high standards of teaching and learning and behaviour
• Has very high expectations of all children and themselves
• Have a clear willingness to respond to and act upon advice following constructive, professional dialogue
• Is willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life
• Is quick to take on new initiatives
• Is flexible
• To lead a Phase and be responsible for standards and achievement.

The Phase Leaders plays a critical role in the life of the school: -
• Being a role model for teaching and learning
• Making a distinctive contribution to the raising of pupil standards
• Taking advantage of CPD opportunities and using the outcomes effectively to improve pupils’ learning
• To complement staff training, as delivered by SLT, during subsequent phase meetings.
• To organise rotas and timetables for duties and cover.
