The Grangefield Academy, Northern Education Trust, are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate qualified Teacher of Art to join the team in September 2024.
  • The department achieved a Progress Score of +0.64 in the summer and has a history of positive outcomes
  • The Department has two specialist art rooms and a Kiln for ceramics
  • Artwork is displayed throughout the school with ever-expanding gallery space
  • There are multiple opportunities both whole-school and trust-wide for career progression

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following as a Classroom Teacher:

Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils, promote good progress and outcomes by pupils, demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge, plan and teach well-structured lessons, adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils, make accurate and productive use of assessment, manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment and fulfil wider professional responsibilities.
